While Bungie transitions their developers from working on Destiny to working on Destiny 2, one artist jumped the gun and updated their personal website with a couple images that could have been the highly anticipated sequel.
According to Gamesradar, the art found on Aziz Dosmetov's, an artist for Destiny: The Taken King, personal site was a rejected pitch for Destiny 2. However, Kotaku's Jason Schreier contacted Dosmetov who confirmed that what was seen was not art for Destiny 2, but there is a belief that it could have been rejected art for Destiny 2.
The art was found on Dosmetov's personal website, which has now been removed, but the internet still remembers.
