Remedy has been hard at work developing Quantum Break, the Xbox One exclusive game that was delayed until 2016, but that doesn't mean that they are outright abandoning their previous game series, Alan Wake.
While we have come to terms with Alan Wake 2 being put on the backburner for an indefinite amount of time, Remedy has decided to keep the spirit of Alan Wake alive through an a live action easter egg in Quantum Break.
As we know, Quantum Break will feature live action cutscenes and one of these cutscenes will have Sam Lake, the writer for Alan Wake and Max Payne playing the role of FBI Special Agent Alex Casey while on the search for a 'missing writer' AKA Alan Wake.
It's a great ode to Alan Wake.
