With the release of Furious 7 just around the corner, fans can download the completely free standalone, Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious. Since it's standalone, that means you don't need the original Forza Horizon 2 in order to play it. And it being free speaks for itself.
The description for the game reads:
For the first time ever, the Forza experience of thrilling driving and amazing cars is combining with the unstoppable Fast & Furious movie franchise to create an original adventure filled with adrenaline-fueled automotive action.
The game's story actually takes place before the events of the movie. Your character will interact with Tej Parker, portrayed by Ludacris, who will task you with acquiring various cars for him.
The game won't stay free forever though. You'll be able to get the game free starting today, March 27, all the way up to April 10. After that date, the game will be on sale for $9.99. If you happen to miss it, it will still only cost you about the price of a movie ticket.
Fast & Furious is available for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
