The recently revealed Xbox One system update is arriving tomorrow, February 11. As previously explained, it features "many new improvements," including a lot of behind-the-scenes updates for developers building apps and games for the new system.
On the consumer end, Xbox One owners are also getting a number of fan-requested features including the return of the battery power indicator. You'll finally be able to see how much battery life is left on your controller from the home screen.
The update will also allow Xbox One owners to see and manage storage space on the console. According to Microsoft, "you will find it easy to find how much space your content makes up and better manage your content." Additionally, you will also be able to control your install lineup and more easily manage your download queue. Microsoft has separated the My Games and My Apps into separate lists, so you will be able to create separate queues for both and pick the order in which you want your content to load.
Lastly, USB keyboard support will be added.
Microsoft has yet to confirm when exactly the update will be issued but we'll be keeping an eye out for it.
