Report: Destiny will offer players three weapon slots

Destiny news is beginning to roll out of Gamescom in Germany with developer Bungie on-hand to showcase their upcoming shooter.

Speaking to IGN’s Ryan McCaffrey, Bungie confirmed that Destiny will abandon the Halo two-weapon mantra for a three-weapon system that allows players to carry a “heavy” weapon in the third slot.

Expect to hear more about Destiny as Gamescom 2013 continues overseas. GameZone will be sure to provide you with any new details as they become available.
