Reports suggest wireless earbuds for the iPhone 7 are true

There has been plenty of rumors and speculation on what Apple intends to do with their next installment of iPhone. But as we get closer, more and more reports suggest that the 'no headphone jack' rumor is true.

Reports coming from 9to5Mac claim that Apple is working on their own wireless earbuds under the Beats brand. Similar to the Motorola Hint and the new Bragi Dash, the earbuds will be two little pods that get popped into your ear without any wires.

Like the Dash and Hint, the Apple earbuds will include a noise-cancelling microphone system, ability to enable phone calls and communication with Siri. For those wondering, the Bragi Dash retails at $300, so this may or may not be in the same ballpark as the Apple version.

It is also rumored that these wireless earbuds won't come bundled in with the iPhone 7, but rather as a premium option for consumers. For consumers who decide to not go for the premium wireless earbuds, Apple is said to be working on a new pair of Apple earbuds that will be able to connect to the lighting cable port.

The iPhone 7 is likely to be unveiled later this year, so stick with GameZone for further updates.
