Last year, Capcom made a splash with Resident Evil 2’s remake. It was yet another win for both the Japanese developer and the acclaimed horror series. 2020 looks to be another great year for the winning combo with Resident Evil 3 Remake.
In roughly two months, Resident Evil 3 Remake will hit shelves and new previews are praising it to the nines. Today, Capcom announced that the upcoming survival horror remake will be getting a free demo sometime in the coming weeks BUT… we have no other details at the moment. Frustrating, I know.
If history is anything to go by, it’ll come a week or two before the game itself launches. Resident Evil 2’s demo came out on January 11th and the game released on the 25th. The demo placed players in Leon Kennedy’s shoes near the start of the game and gave you one chance to play the demo start to finish within 30 minutes before becoming in-accessible.
Will Capcom follow that same concept for the Resident Evil 3 demo? It remains to be seen. Resident Evil 3 Remake launches on April 3rd, 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
