Capcom has been hard at work making their classic Resident Evil games available on current systems. So far, they have remastered versions of 0,1,4, and 6, plus the upcoming a Resident Evil 2 remake which will offer even more than a remaster would.
On top of all of that, a remastered version of Resident Evil 5 will be heading to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on June 28th. The June release will see the game's digital release, while a July 12th release will see a physical release for the game.
The current-gen port of Resident Evil 5 will feature all of the previously released DLC, including story add-ons (Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape), the Mercenaries content and the No Mercy Mode that was previously exclusive to PC. The No Mercy Mode port will reportedly bring even more enemies than the PC version.
Capcom hasn't been very shy about their big plans for the Resident Evil franchise, so we might be looking at the hype building train for Resident Evil 7.
