Resident Evil 7’s Kitchen VR demo will make it’s way to the PSN store on October 13th

To coincide with the launch of PSVR, Capcom will be releasing their Resident Evil Kitchen demo! The demo was shown off to a handfull of people as a way to demo PSVR to people and show its true potential. At the time, no one knew that they were playing a game connected to the Resident Evil universe but it was revealed at E3 when Resident Evil 7 was announced that Kitchen was sort of a testing ground to see how audiences reacted to the game and if it would be right to turn it into a full fledged game.

The demo has never been released and gameplay has never really surfaced, but next week PSVR owners will be able to play the game and experience it for themselves! The demo will be included on the demo disc that comes with PSVR and will also be downloadable from the PSN store. There's no word yet as to whether the demo will make its way to the PC for Oculus and Vive users, but the Kitchen demo may be tied into the one year exclusivity RE7 VR deal for PlayStation.
