Resident Evil 7: The Experience, an Escape Room-style event, will be happening in London later this month

Resident Evil 7 is coming and to get ready for the game's launch, Londoners are going to have the opportunity to attend a special event that's sure to scare the literal crap out of you. Resident Evil 7: The Experience is an Escape Room style event where attendees get to enter a real-life rendition of the Baker House to investigate the disappearance of a missing camera crew while solving puzzles along the way.

The event is a two-person experience, so you have to work together to get through the event. Probably what's most scary of all is that the Baker family will be home while you and your partner are scouring the house, so you have to figure out ways to prevent them from finding you while uncovering the mystery.

Here's an official description from the event's website:

To celebrate the new Resident Evil™ 7: Biohazard game release out on 24th January, Capcom has launched Resident Evil™ 7: The Experience – a 45-minute immersive event taking place from January 20th to 23rd 2017.
Are you ready to enter the Baker family’s house?
The Sewer Gators, a paranormal TV production team, is looking for intern reporters to help them investigate the disappearance of their missing crew. Are you up to it? Have you got nerves of steel? Are you good at solving puzzles? If so, read on…
Following a storyline inspired by the brand new game, Resident Evil™ 7: The Experience recreates the Baker family house in a haunted venue in the heart of London’s East End and the Sewer Gators need your help!
You will arrive at the Sewer Gators debrief area with a partner ahead of your assignment. You will then need to work together to collect hints, solve puzzles, and outsmart the Baker family as you search for the truth about your missing colleagues and try escape the house without going missing yourself.
Resident Evil 7: The Experience is only happening in London (sorry) and will take place from January 20th through the 23rd. It's also worth noting that if you do attend the event, you will be able to get some hands-on time with the game.
