Resident Evil 7 to support cross saving between Xbox One and Windows 10

Resident Evil 7 drops in just two months and it seems like every week we are getting brand new pieces of news, but we aren't complaining. Cacpom is probably doing everything they can to get the attention of fans after Resident Evil 6 was critically panned.

In a Japanese article, it was revealed that Resident Evil 7 will be getting cross-saving functionality on Xbox One and Windows 10. This means players on Xbox One can play the game, save, and then continue the game where they left off over on PC or vice versa. Although this feature is allowed for any game, it's mostly taken advantage of by Xbox One exclusives. You can read the quote about cross-saves below (keep in mind, we ran this through Google Translate so the English may be slightly broken).

"Bio 7" is compatible with PC, it is possible to enjoy "7" with the latest image expression such as 4K or HDR depending on the PC environment on hand such as high spec PC and high quality monitor. The Windows store version can share play data with "7" of Xbox One version.

Resident Evil 7 releases on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on January 24th, 2017 with full VR support exclusively on PS4.
