Resident Evil has been around for a while now, but Capcom isn't simply looking to remaster the old games we love for new systems, they are also bringing us new content.
The new content is coming to us in episodic releases of Resident Evil Revelations 2. Each episode of Revelations 2 will reveal either Barry Burton's story or Claire and Moira's story.
The first episode is set to release on February 17, 2015 on the PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. It will be available a day later on the PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Each episode (total of four) will cost $5.99 per or the complete season can be purchased for $24.99 . The complete season comes with two additional spin-off episodes for Moira Burton and Natalia Korda as well as an additional RAID mode character named Hunk.
Revelations 2 won't be coming to us with all of the same old zombie enemies, take a look at the recently revealed enemies below:
Revenant
The Revenant is made up of multiple bodies sewn together. They aren't easy to kill…even when you're only facing one. Use Natalia's special ability to see where the weak spots are on enemies.
Othrus
Is it a wild boar or something else? The Othrus is a wild beast infected by some kind of virus. They attack in packs, take them out one at a time as soon as you spot them.
Sploder
Similar to the Boomer in Left 4 Dead, the Sploder releases a blinding liquid when attacked. A flashlight might keep them at a safe distance.
