Resident Evil: Revelations console and PC sales top 1 million

Resident Evil: Revelations has reached 1.1 million in worldwide sales for consoles and PC, Capcom confirmed today.

The survival-horror game launched on 3DS exactly two years ago today. Then last May, Capcom upscaled and ported the game to PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U, widening its audience base.

That 1.1 million is a total of sales for those later versions.

"Revs joins Dead Rising 3 as a 2013 million-seller, plus we have word that DuckTales Remastered also performed admirably," Capcom wrote in a blog post.

Revelations stars longtime characters Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield and attempted to return the series to its classic survival-horror roots.
