Resident Evil Revelations to release on Xbox One, PS4 release this month; Nintendo Switch version coming this year

The Switch is getting a Resident Evil game!

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Revelations will be getting an HD port to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at the end of the month and will be seeing a release on the Nintendo Switch later this year. Resident Evil Revelation originally launched on the 3DS in 2012, followed by an HD release on the PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 in 2013. 

On August 29th, the game will make yet another leap on to yet another platform, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The Xbox One and PS4 port will include all of the originally released DLC for $19.99. Pre-ordering the game on the PS Store will get you an exclusive pre-order theme.

As far as the Nintendo Switch version goes, the Switch won't be just be seeing Resident Evil Revelations. The hybrid console from Nintendo will be seeing both Resident Evil Revelations and its sequel, Resident Evil Revelations 2, at some point later this year. The game will be available as a bundle in North Americal for $39.99 or individually for $19.99 each.

The Nintendo Switch version will include all of the DLC for both games, as well as Raid mode and solo and online co-op.
