Resogun dev: ‘PS4 looks more attractive than Xbox One’

Housemarque community manager Tommaso De Benetti doesn't believe that games are of Microsoft's highest priority for the Xbox One. For that reason, he sees the PlayStation 4 as the "more attractive" system for "true core gamers."

Speaking to Kotaku Japan, De Benetti offered the following comparison between the two next-gen consoles:

"It’s not the official position of the company but just a personal opinion: if you look at it as a gamer, Xbox One is focused on America’s vision of the entertainment center with the TV and the like. It gives the impression is that games aren’t its highest priority.

"On the other hand for the PS4 games come first, then  there are other forms of entertainment," he added. "Because of how they’re promoting it, I think the PS4 looks more attractive when viewed by true core gamers, isn’t it?"

It's worth noting that Housemarque is currently working on Resogun, a sidescrolling shoot 'em up that's a PlayStation 4 exclusive. So it's no surprise that one of the company's employees favors the PS4 over the Xbox One. With that being said, De Benetti was quick to point out that it is only his opinion and does no reflect that of the company.
