Resogun DLC will make you ‘forget how good the original was’

Back in January, Housemarque acknowledged they were working on new downloadable content for their hit PS4 exclusive, Resogun. While no details have been shared just yet, the developer has been eager to tease us with just how amazing it will be.

The latest comes in the form of a tweet in which Housemarque teased: "Imagine RESOGUN, right? Now imagine it so much better that you almost forget how good the original was. That. Is. Coming."

It's possible they are referring to their next PS4 project, but given a recent interview in which they said a DLC reveal is "very close," I'm assuming it has to do with Resogun.

"A few people probably hate me by now because I’ve been teasing it for a while, but things have been pushed back a couple of times," Housemarque community manager Tommaso De Benetti explained in a recent interview. "It’s for the best, I’m adamant that what we have in store is gonna please fans quite a bit."

Resogun was released as a launch title for the PS4 back in November, and was included as part of November's free PS Plus games. It also just so happened to be one of the better-received PS4 launch games.
