Whether Titanfall 2 existed or not was never something to be questioned. Respawn Entertainment's CEO Vince Zampella confirmed the game's existence last year, along with the fact that it would not be an Xbox One exclusive like its predecessor.
While we have heard some details on the upcoming addition to the series like it won't have a singe-player campaign and that it is 'looking fantastic,' we haven't seen the game out in the wild – until now.
Anyone visiting their local GameStop will be met with ominous black boxes that read Titanfall 2 across the sections for the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, and PS4 — which platform the game will be officially announced for has yet to be revealed.
No one has released official word on the game boxes making an appearance, but McFarlane Toys has suggested a Winter 2016 release for the game. The appearance of the game in stores suggests that an announcement for the game should be coming shortly.
