Retailer reveals Homefront: The Revolution’s release date

Homefront: The Revolution was first announced all the way back in 2014, but not much was known about its release date at the time. In March of last year it was delayed to a vague "2016" release window. As of today, we may finally know the release date, courtesy of a retailer leak.

Retail giant Target has available pre-order reserveration cards, and on this card in two different places is the printed release date of May 17th, 2016. This isn't just "a source close to the situation" making a statement. It's right there in black and white. It's worth mentioning that Deep Silver hasn't announced anything official yet, and the card does mention the game release date is "subject to change." We've reached out to Deep Silver and will let you know what we hear, but we've seen this before. For all intents and purposes, Homefront: The Revolution is releasing on May 17th.

The card was first shown compliments of XboxAchievements and you can see it below.
