Retailers already listing placeholder Project Scorpio pre-orders and NX price

Always ready to take your money.

While Nintendo and Microsoft have revealed that they are working on new consoles, neither game maker or console maker have revealed the actual console, release date or price. Even though those key elements haven't been revealed, that doesn't mean that online retailers can't begin preparations for the consoles.

The Australian EB Games online site has a pre-order listing for both the NX and Scorpio (via Reddit), each priced at $999.00 with 2017 release windows. The NX is a bit more specific than the Scorpio's  'TBC 2017' release window, with a smaller release window of March 2017.

The March 2017 release window for the NX falls in line with previous rumors and leaks.

One online retailer based in the UK, Tesco, has listed the NX with a much lower price and closer release date. According to Tesco's (via Nintendo Life) placeholder, the NX will be around £349.99 and release on December 31st, 2016. While a December release would be nice, it's highly unlikely.

With the listing appearing now, while other listings (like Project Scorpio and NX listing on EB) appeared back when the consoles were first announced, there's a chance we might be seeing some kind of announcement soon.
