Another Retro Game Challenge title is in development for Nintendo 3DS.
The first Retro Game Challenge is based on the Japanese television show Game Center CX, in which host Shinya Arino takes on old-school game challenges. Fans warmed to the original, which Xseed Games localized in 2009 for DS, but unfortunately, sales didn't hold up. A sequel, Game Center CX: Arino no Chousenjou 2, never made it to North America.
Xseed probably won't localize this one, either. However, Japanese developer G.rev — the maker of Under Defeat — is taking over for Indieszero, which handled the first two titles. You may recognize the name from Final Fantasy Theatrhythm.
It's possible that G.rev may publish the title in the West as with some of its other games, including Strania for Xbox Live Arcade and the 3DS shooter Kokuga.
