The PS3 version of Amplitude, developer Harmonix Music Systems’ vibrant rhythm game, will launch this April.
“It’s done!” Harmonix said in a post to the project’s Kickstarter page. “We’re submitting [the PS3 version] to Sony certification today, [March 11.] The certification and release process takes a couple weeks, but you’ll be able to get your Sixaxis controllers all up in Amplitude’s business in April.”
Harmonix added that Kickstarter rewards such as vinyl soundtracks and art books will be sent out in the months following the PS3 version’s release. A more concrete release date will also become available in the coming weeks.
After a successful run on Kickstarter, Amplitude came to PS4 in January 2016. We quite enjoyed the psychedelic little game, in no small part due to the significant improvements it received following the delay of its original launch date of summer 2015.
