So over the weekend, the cover box art for Madden NFL 15 emerged. It features Seattle Seahawks' cornerback Richard Sherman — winner of this year's Madden NFL 15 cover vote — striking an awkward pose.
While I originally thought Sherman wanted us to "talk to the hand" on the cover, further research revealed that he's actually doing his best "Stop in the Name of Love" impression.
Shortly after winning the fan voting competition, Sherman stated that he preferred the entire "Legion of Boom" join him on the cover of this year's Madden. Maybe it's not too late because this is just plain awkward.
Oh, and in all likelihood Sherman giving us the hand is probably more about showing off the design on his glove.
