Motorcycle racer Ride 4 releases very soon but a next-gen version is just around the corner. Milestone has announced that Ride 4 will come to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 4 on January 21st, 2021.
The next-gen version will allow for 4K, 60 FPS gameplay that creates richer visuals and gameplay. It’ll also increase the amount of racers in a single race, capping out at 20 racers to allow for more intense races.
The PlayStation 5 version will also make use of the DualSense haptic feedback triggers. Milestone promises that the triggers will feel like you’re actually controlling the gas and brake handles akin to their real-life counterpart. Each bike in Ride 4 has a unique level of resistance to create an even more immersive experience. PS5 also packs a beefy SSD which will allow for faster load times.
Ride 4 will benefit from Xbox’s Smart Delivery, allowing you to buy a universal copy across the Xbox console family. PS4 users can also upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version at no extra cost until April 30th, 2021.
The acclaimed racer will release on October 8th, 2020 for current-gen and PC. The next-gen version will drop on January 21st, 2021.
