Riot Games announced yesterday the arrival of “League Display,” a new, all-in-one application available for both Mac and PC, that lets users browse their massive library of League of Legends art and assign them as either wallpapers or screensavers.
The collection of art is broken down several ways, for example, by events that League of Legends provides players throughout the year, like the Project event, Snow Down, Star Guardians and more. But you can also search based on champions, fan art, and RuneTerra, just to name a few. There’s a wide variety of images choose from, with many player’s favorite heroes. The best part is, once you’ve found the piece (or pieces) you like, you just click on it (which adds a checkmark next to either wallpaper or screen saver), then tap “finalize” in the top right of the application’s window, then click “activate.” The app does the rest, you’ll never have to open your settings or display options. You can have one image which will remain static or a variety of images, which the application will cycle throw automatically about every one minute (default), but you can change that to every 5, 15, or 30 minutes and even every hour or once a day.
The screensavers are awesome too, Riot has included them as animated pieces, so they look very similar, if not identical, to the splash page of the League Launcher.
The League Display application is free to download (link below) and is available again, for both Mac and PC.
