Rise of the Guardians hitting Wii U this November as possible launch title

Rise of the Guardians, an action-adventure video game based on the upcoming eponymous animated movie from DreamWorks, is expected to hit the Wii U on November 20, despite no actual launch date for the console itself.

The game's release date coincides with the movie's premiere on November 21. D3 plans to publish the title, which Torus Games is developing.

Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game will also release on Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Players can explore childhood legends based on Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Jack Frost, Sandman, and others, and enjoy drop-in-and-out multiplayer for up to four people.

Nintendo previously stated it would reveal the Wii U's launch information this fall.
