Rise of the Tomb Raider season pass revealed

It looks like we'll be getting even more Lara after the end of Rise of the Tomb Raider's main campaign, as a season pass has been revealed.

The listing over on Amazon, (isn't it always Amazon?) has the price at $29.99 but lists no specific content. The only description of the pass reads as "The Season Pass for Rise of the Tomb Raider includes a range of content that will extend your single-player campaign, and also allow you to compete with friends." It is a digital code redemption via Amazon only and has the same release date as the main game, November 10th.

DLC for Tomb Raider most likely means added quests to take part in and tombs to plunder, but the interesting part is the end where it indicates playing with friends. Rise of the Tomb Raider is a single player game only with no multiplayer so it's unknown exactly what this would entail. There is obviously no way Crystal Dynamics is making multiplayer only for DLC in a season pass, as both the logistics involved and backlash it would receive would be incredible. Could it be leaderboards perhaps?

We have reached out to both Microsoft and Crystal Dynamics and will let you know what we hear.
