Risen 2 for consoles delayed until summer

The console version of Risen 2: Dark Waters has been delayed until summer. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners who were looking forward to playing the Deep Silver-published title will now have to wait until July 31.

Luckily, there is some incentive thrown in for console gamers. An extra chapter titled "The Air Temple" will be included for free on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 iterations of Risen 2.

As explained by Deep Silver, the PC version of the game will not be affected and is still on its set course for an April 27 launch. So if you're a PC gamer, watch out for Risen 2 next week.

I think this game has a nice summer vibe to it, so I'm not at all bothered by the delay of the console versions. Add to that the fact that we're getting extra content, and it's really nothing to complain about.
