Risk of Rain is heading to PS4 & PS Vita

Sony continues to further show their love to the indies with their latest addition to their collection, Risk of Rain, coming to both the PS4 and PS Vita. The game originally released on PC back in 2013 and it was praised for its interesting universe, easy to understand controls and crazy gameplay.
However, the port to PlayStation systems comes packed with some new features to the game’s online system — exclusive to PlayStation owners.  Players will have automatic matchmaking integrated into the game thanks to the PlayStation Network, which allows you to join up with three other players around the world.
Risk of Rain will also feature both couch co-op and online play at the same time, which entitles players to have two players on one console while 2 others join in through matchmaking or, however, you and your friends like to play. Alongside that cool new feature, the game will also allow PS4 and PS Vita users to cross-play, presumably, cross-buy will be implemented as well.
At the moment, Risk of Rain does not have a release date, but there is a brand new trailer which you can watch above that will help get you excited for the game.
