Yesterday, Marvel released the official poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron. It was a bit of a muddled mess, full of Photoshopped characters vying for our attention. Simply put, it was too much, and I hope that's not indicative of a movie that's full of too many big names. Is there such a thing as too much star power?
Reglardess, today, we get a brand new poster for the film, courtesy of Robert Downey Jr. (aka Tony Stark, the man behind the Iron Man mask). Unlike yesterday's poster, this one features only Iron Man in the middle of a warzone. It's a cleaner, simpler piece, that's ultimately just less crowded. I dig it.
There seems to have been purpose for this, though, and it's not just to show off Iron Man. Alongside the image, RDJ tweeted about a "big announcement" happening in eight days.
You've been good so here's a new #IronMan poster from @Avengers. & on the DL, big announcement in 8 days… #getexcited pic.twitter.com/AdB1tTib7K

A lot can happen in the next eight days. Hopefully we'll get more posters between now and then that'll help clue us in. For now, though, your guess is as good as ours.
