Rock Band Blitz complete 25-song soundtrack revealed

Harmonix announced the final five songs playable in rock Band Blitz, the new controller-based music experience available on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network.

Rounding out the 25-song setlist are the following "Moves Like Jagger" (Maroon 5), "Death on Two Legs" (Queen), "These Days" (Foo Fighters), "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" (Kelly Clarkson), "Spoonman" (Soundgarden), "Give It Away" (Red Hot Chli Peppers). The sogns will also be playable in Rock Band 3 with full instrument support at no additional chage.

“We spent a lot of time making sure the Rock Band Blitz soundtrack was just right,” Harmonix’s Vice President of Music and Strategy Chris Rigopulos. “There are a handful of artists that are new to the Rock Band catalog, as well as solid tracks from fan favorites and classic artists. These are handpicked tracks that we made sure are not only fun to play in Rock Band Blitz, but make an awesome addition to your Rock Band 3 music library at a great value.”

  • Kelly Clarkson – “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”
  • Kool & The Gang – “Jungle Boogie”
  • Iron Maiden – “The Wicker Man”
  • Living Colour – “The Cult of Personality”
  • Maroon 5 – “Moves Like Jagger”
  • My Chemical Romance – “Sing”

In addition to these tracks, most of your existing Rock Band music library will be compatible with Rock Band Blitz.

Rock Band Blitz is set to release on August 28 for PSN for $14.99 before arriving on Xbox Live Arcade on August 29 for 1200 MS Points.
