Rock Band expands its song selection with second Black Keys track pack

I personally haven't touched Rock Band 3 in a while, definitely over a year now. While I loved the game, it stopped being that go-to party game that I relied on to keep people entertained. What hasn't stopped however, the constant flow of downloadable tracks. I have to hand it to Harmonix that they definitely kept their promise and keep delivering new tracks on a steady basis.

So what's in store for Rock Band owners next week? Three songs from the Black Keys, including:

  • The Black Keys – "Tighten Up"  O
  • The Black Keys – “Howlin' For You" O
  • The Black Keys – “Lonely Boy” O X

Tracks marked with “O” feature support for keyboards; tracks marked with “X” will offer Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.

That makes this the second DLC pack debut from the band.

“Tighten Up” was the first single off of 2010’s critically celebrated Brothers; the track garnered the duo a Grammy for “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” at the 53rd Grammy Awards in 2011! Another track off of Brothers, “Howlin’ for You” – a track popularized in a number of commercials, television shows and films – will also be available. Finally, the hard-driving “Lonely Boy” from The Black Keys’ latest album El Camino will be available. The track was a massive hit for the group around the world, and is their highest charting single to date.
