Rocket League is getting a basketball mode in celebration of the upcoming March Madness NCAA tournament. It was teased yesterday on the official account, but we still are unsure of when it will go into effect. According to the post, the new mode will let you swap out goals for hoops and play on a full, hardwood court. There's even a three point line! Somehow, however, I doubt there are going to be foul shots in this mode. Just a hunch. I also don't see Lebron blocking any of these shots either, but I digress.
Rocket League was just recently released on Xbox One last month and already reached over 1 million players within a couple of weeks. Although there is no cross play such as PS4 and PC players have, the game is still seeing a huge success for Psyonix who continue to pump out updates like they're going out of style. First Back to the Future, then Batman, now this! We'll have more news for you when we hear it as the NCAA tournament begins next week.
