Psyonix and Zag Toys sent out a press release today announcing an exclusive partnership to develop a line of toys based on the rocket powered battle cars from the game. The line is expected to initially launch 12 pull-back racers called "Rocket League Original Minis." These Rocket League pull-back racers are scheduled to hit retail sometime in Spring 2017, and some will even come with an exclusive code for an exclusive Rocket Trail and Wheel that can be redeemed in-game.
Here's a look at some of the battle cars.
Octane, Dominus, Masamune, Hotshot, Grog, X-Devil, Merc, and Backfire are among the first cars that will launch and each will have variations in appearance for you to collect.
Rocket League has proven itself to be quite popular among gamers around the world with over 1 billion matches played to date. Rocket League was also the most downloaded PS4 game of 2016, which is pretty amazing for a game that didn't even release that year.
