Rocko’s Modern Life coming back for one-hour TV movie

While Nickelodeon is hard at work resurrecting Hey Arnold! for a two-part TV movie, they have decided to bring back another star show from the 90s: Rocko's Modern Life. A one-hour TV movie will be bringing back Rocko, Spunky, Mr. Bighead, Heffer and more to your living room.

“I’m very happy to be rejoining Rocko and my friends from O-Town again,” said creator Joe Murray in a statement to EW. “What I have found by bringing these characters back is that it’s not so much about nostalgia, but a sense that they still feel relevant and fresh to me, and after 20 years, they can’t wait to comment on modern life in the 21st century. They still have a lot to say.”

There's no word on whether or not the Hey Arnold! and Rocko's Modern Life movies will ruin our childhood or only make the nostalgia worse. Unfortunately (or fortunately), Nickelodeon won't be simply rebooting those two shows, they are also creating a Legends of the Hidden Temple movie… If these prove to be successful, you can bet Doug, Rugrats and The Ren and Stimpy Show will get rebooted too.
