Rocksmith 2014 Edition jamming onto PS4 and Xbox One

The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are looking to get a little more musical this Fall. Ubisoft is bringing their guitar teaching rhythm game, Rocksmith 2014, to the new generation of consoles.

Rocksmith 2014 restored our faith in music games (you can see why right here), it isn't gimmicky and it really does help you learn how to the play guitar. Previously released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but it isn't simply getting ported to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 – it's bringing some features with it.

Rocksmith 2014 will be hitting the Xbox One and PS4 in 1080p HD – on both consoles (as far as we know). It will also utilize the streaming and capturing capabilities of the two consoles. Unique to the PS4, is the ability to use Remote Play through the PlayStation Vita. You'll be able to view and review songs without the requirement of input or scoring.

With more than 50 tracks at launch and 300 more songs available (at a price), Rocksmith's track libraries will import from your Xbox 360 to Xbox One and likewise for the PS3 and PS4 – no repurchasing of songs will be necessary.

Expect to jam out on the PS4 and Xbox One on November 4, 2014.
