Rockstar cofounder wants a Bully sequel

The folks at Rockstar Games are probably feeling fairly pleased with themselves after Grand Theft Auto V was recently crowned king of the videogame universe. Last week, GTA 5 shattered sales records after surpassing $1 billion within its first three days.
However, Rockstar's cofounder Dan Houser is already starting to think about the future. In a recent interview with Polygon, Houser mentioned that he's interested in making a sequel to Bully, a controversial title that Rockstar published back in 2006.
"I know I want to," he said. "Well, hopefully, you never know. There's a lot of directions I could go with that one, it's funny."
Fans of Rockstar's library have often encouraged the developer to consider crisscrossing the Grand Theft Auto and Bully franchises. An adult version of Bully protagonist Jimmy Hopkins could potentially star in the title, but the game would look and act much like Grand Theft Auto. Unfortunately, this isn't something that interests Houser.
"I never saw him as being that level of degenerate," he said. "I saw him as a bad teen, because he comes from a tough home, who could go either direction. He's not going to be a carjacker. He's too white collar for that already."
