Ever want to create and direct your own movie? Well, with Grand Theft Auto 5's new PC-exclusive feature, Rockstar Editor, you can.
Revealed today, Rockstar Editor is a special feature exclusive to the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 that lets you record, edit, and share videos created from footage in the game's Story Mode and GTA Online (multiplayer).
While you'll be able to go hands-on with Rockstar Editor when GTA 5 releases for PC tomorrow, April 14th, Rockstar has gone ahead and given us an overview of the features this powerful video creation tool will include. There's special camera modes, filters, depth of field and audio customization options, as well as a Director Mode feature that allows you "to stage creative moviemaking sequences from a cast of characters rangingĀ from Story Mode, to pedestrians and even animals."
And when you're done, you simply upload the video to YouTube and the Rockstar Games Social Club.
We don't know how demanding the editor will be, but Rockstar has established these system requirements for GTA 5 on PC.
