Rockstar Games isn't one to tip its cards, but in answering a few fan questions today, the developer briefly touched upon the possibility of a sequel for some of its franchises like Red Dead Redemption.
"It's wonderful to see so much excitement and enthusiasm for the Red Dead series, and nearly 5 years after Red Dead Redemption's release(!)," Rockstar said. "As we've mentioned when asked in the past about new games in other series such as Red Dead Redemption, Bully, and L.A. Noire, we don't always rush to make sequels, but that does not mean we won't get to them eventually."
"We have so many games we want to make and the issue is always one of bandwidth and timing," Rockstar continued, urging fans to stay tuned in 2015 for some new announcements.
While fans wait for the possible announcement of a new Red Dead game, they meanwhile have the opportunity to enjoy Grand Theft Auto 5, which is also making its PC debut in 2015. For those playing on console, 2015 also promises the arrival of the long-awaited multiplayer heists for GTA Online, which Rockstar said should arrive "early" in the year.
