Rockstar planning ‘exciting’ new GTA 5 Story Mode updates

In announcing the release date for GTA Online's free Beach Bum update, Rockstar Games also confirmed they are working on "some exciting new Story Mode udpates" as well. While they couldn't yet share any more information regarding these said updates, they promise more news "very soon."

"This is just the first of many new content updates we're working on for Grand Theft Auto Online in the weeks and months ahead. Please stay tuned here at the Newswire for word on the forthcoming Content Creator, full on cooperative Heists, and GTA Online's take on Capture the Flag – plus info on some exciting new Story Mode updates as well. We'll have new info to share on all of this very soon."

In the meantime, those enjoying the game's online multiplayer mode can look forward to Tuesday's free update which will add new jobs, more vehicles and weapons, and all sorts of customization options. Rockstar also promised more news regarding future content for GTA Online as well.
