Cellar Door Games' genealogical rogue-LITE Rogue Legacy is coming to Xbox One. The developer confirmed the platform when responding to a fan's angry tweet, "It's 2015 and still no Rogue Legacy for Xbox One.. :/"
For those unfamiliar, Rogue Legacy offers elements of a rogue-like, so when your character dies, he's dead for good. However, as a "genealogical Rogue-LITE," each time you die, your child will succeed you. Each child is unique, so one might be colorblind while another might have vertical. The good thing is, when you die, all of the gold you've collected can be used to upgrade your manor, giving your next child an advantage in life. The procedurally generated castle in which you must conquer, however, will change each time.
So we don't know when it's coming to Xbox One — presumably in 2015 — but Rogue Legacy is currently available on PC and Sony's major PlayStation platforms.
