Rogue-like space shooter ‘Everspace’ headed to Xbox One

If you've been lamenting over the fact that Star Wars Battlefront won't be featuring any spacecraft dogfights, don't worry – there's another game that will your space battle that need. Everspace will leave you in command of a customizable spacecraft that will mainly be used to explode things in space. Each level in the game employs rogue-like elements and a non-linear story.

With Everspace, it appears as though luck was on developer Rockfish Games' side. After succefully completing their Kickstarter Campaign, the devs were approached by Microsoft to join to the ID@Xbox program. Which means that we will be seeing Everspace on the Xbox One and Windows 10, along with its Steam release in late 2016.

The game won't begin an end on the PC (Mac and Linux included) and Xbox One – it will also feature VR support. No matter who you are, you'll be flying spaceships in space by next year (if you want to… No pressure).
