Roller Coaster Tycoon spiritual PC successor Planet Coaster announced

Get your digital barf bags ready. Frontier Developments, the studio behind Elite: Dangerous, has announced the spiritual successor to RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 called Planet Coaster.

The game was announced via a CG trailer at the E3 PC Gaming Press Conference. The trailer itself didn't give exact details on the play mechanics, but featured the cartoony look we're used to seeing in a Tycoon game with plenty of creative amusement park simulation going on.

Planet Coaster was announced back in January as Coaster Park Tycoon. It's available now for pre-order with a 2016 release date.
