RollerCoaster Tycoon reopens on mobile and PC

RollerCoaster Tycoon is returning with a new game after a decade without any rides, vendors, or vomit piles on the pavement.

The amusement-park sim is hitting iOS devices this spring as RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile, which will cost $3. There's no word about Android yet, but Atari confirmed via Twitter that "there is a PC experience in production now for release this year."

RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile will feature 20 predesigned coasters and a host of new features and attractions. Players can share their parks through Facebook and Game Center support. They can visit a friend's park and even swap blueprints.

The last entry in the series, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, launched for PC and Mac in 2004.
