There's a lot to look forward to in this game and a lot of memories to re-live.

The long awaited Rollercoaster Tycoon World finally has a release date, March 30th 2016. This will be the first Rollercoaster Tycoon game in over a decade. The release won't be the traditional release, the game will come out on Early Access.
So on March 30th gamers can get their hands on the newest installment of Rollercoaster Tycoon World for 46€ or local equivalent.

The game will stay in early access until "we all feel the game is ready to be shared with the world as a finished product. Yes, there really is much more work we want to do." the RCTW team continues " As Early Access progresses our timeline for final release will become clearer.". This could mean that Rollercoaster Tycoon World will stay in early access for quite some time.

RollerCoaster Tycoon World is available for pre-order but the developers knows that many might be sceptical to the early access approach and is offering refund to anyone who pre-ordered via Atari.com or Rollercoastertycoon.com. If anyone pre-ordered via a different store the RCTW team says that the individual store will facilitate the refund. Or as they put it "This gives you a day to try Early Access, no strings attached. If you pre-ordered via Steam or another retailer, they will be able to facilitate refunds as needed." and they hope that the gamers who refunded will return when the game is done.

The early access version that releases the 30th will include most of the things and items gamers are used to have in a Rollercoaster game, more than 30 normal rides, freeform Rollercoaster building, 10 different types of rollercoasters complete with ride cams, 4 different themes, sci-fi, adventure, generic, and western, and more.
Access to the Steam Workshop will also be available making it easier to use user created content to make the game even better in the early stages.
Three game modes will also be available, a campaign mode, scenario modes, and sandbox. All of this is still in development so the items and modes will change over time.

Since this will be an early access game there will be bugs and problems, the game isn't finished after all.

On the following page follows a list of features that will be available in the early access version
