RPG Maker MV is free to use this weekend on Steam

Looking to make the next To The Moon? Better get your Game Jam on this weekend then. The development team at Degica has announced that this weekend on Steam, May 26th-30th, RPG Maker MV will be free to everyone interested in trying their hand at game design. RPG Maker MV will also be on sale 50%, the highest discount ever on the software.

RPG Maker MV is the latest in a long running series of beginner game engines designed to allow anyone, of any experience level, to make their own video games. It's used by a wide range of experience levels from children in schools to professional indie game developers.
"Our goal has always been to provide an engine that anyone can use, so that as many people as possible can reach their dreams of making a game," said Nick Palmer, RPG Maker's community manager, "And this free weekend allows us to get that power into more hands than ever before."
Degica also announced that there will be Steam Workshop integration for RPG Maker MV which will allow users to share the games and resources they have made.
