Rumor alert: Daniel Craig signed for two more Bond films after ‘Skyfall’?

I like Bond films as much as the next person, but at the end of the Pierce Brosnan era, I felt the movies were getting stale. Enter Daniel Craig. Craig played a more angry, raw, and emotionally reckless James Bond than we have ever seen in Casino Royale — and it was awesome. It was probably my favorite Bond film thanks to his performance, as well as awesome action sequences. While Quantum of Solace didn't strike fans the same way Casino Royale did, the next Bond film, Skyfall, looks amazing. I'm seriously more hyped for it than I was for The Avengers.

So I am delighted when I read on fansite MI6 that Daniel Craig is contracted to appear in at least two more Bond films after Skyfall. These would be the 24th and 25th Bond movies — which would make five James Bond films for Craig, putting him behind only Sean Connery and Roger Moore. It's already been reported that the tentatively titled Bond 24 is planned for a 2014 release, with studio execs wanting to get back to a two-year window between new Bond films.

There's been no confirmation of this contract, but MI6 is a trustworthy site and solid with the rumors they put up. In the meantime, Skyfall is set for a November 9th release. Look forward to our review of that as the date approaches.

What do you think — would you like to keep seeing Craig make Bond films?
