Rumor: Alleged screenshots of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch surface

Rumors around Nintendo have begun swirling ahead of their E3 themed Nintendo Direct, but no one was expecting this. It appears as though someone has leaked images for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch.

The leaker has not been verified and remains anonymous – which makes the existence of a Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch speculative at best. However, the leaker did say that these images would be revealed to the public in July – after the E3 focused Nintendo Direct.

**Note: With the leak getting the spotlight it's being revealed that the leaker's Japanese is off and that Bowser Jr. is not using his Japanese name, but an English name (via Source Gaming). Again, take rumors/leaks with a grain of salt.**

The leak, found on 4chan, came with a piece of text saying the following:

"These images come from the next version of a popular Japanese game magazine scheduled to be released in July"

Check out the images below and decide for yourself:

**Update: Eurogamers Tom Phillips tweeted that he "heard the idea for the Smash Bros. Switch port was that it would include both Wii U and 3DS stages." Which suggests… it's… real? Maybe. **

Here's to hoping that this is real!
