Although Sony will formally announce April's PS Plus offers later this week, GamePointsNow, for the third month in a row, has allegedly got the scoop early. The site, which has been correct in its leaks for the past two months, has again posted the supposed free games for PlayStation Plus Europe subscribers for April.
PlayStation 4 owners can expect Mercenary Kings, a side-scrolling, 2D action game from Tribute Games. Earlier this week, PlayStation Blog of Asia outed Mercenary Kings as the free PS4 game in that region and its widely expected to be offered in Europe and the United States as well — especially since both regions announced earlier this month that it will be releasing for PS4 on April 1. It just makes sense.
Meanwhile, PlayStation 3 are believed to be getting PES 2014 and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, while Vita owners will see Hotline Miami and Moto GP13.
It's worth noting that the lineup of PlayStation Plus games differ somewhat between regions, though last month Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition was the free PS4 game for everyone. That also just so happened to be outed by PlayStation Asia prior to an official announcement. It's quite possible that we could see different PS3 and Vita games offered in North America though.
