While the community is still reeling from the divisive Batman v Superman movie, Warner Bros. is still moving ahead with the solo Batman film headed by Ben Affleck, also known as Batfleck. Whether you loved him or hated him, Batfleck still has his own movies to make and it looks like he might be borrowing quite a bit from other popular Batman stories.
We've known that Affleck will be borrowing from comic books and adapting them into his own 'original' story, but rumor has it a pretty familiar building will be playing a part in the movie.
Sources close to Batman-On-Film (via GamesRadar) are saying that Batfleck will will be "locked up in Arkham." Using the words Batman and Arkham in the same sentence definitely brings up two major related items – the Batman: Arkham Asylum game and Grant Morrison's Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth. Whether or not Batfleck and his team will be pulling from the game or the comic hasn't been detailed, but we can only hope that Arkham Asylum is being used as source material.
Let's be honest, that game was pretty great.
