It looks like Battlefield: Hardline beta is heading to the PlayStation 4, if a report from IGN is to be believed. And if you're attending Sony's E3 Experience event next week, then you may be one of the lucky ones to receive an access code.
The site says that readers and users on NeoGAF who RSVP'd to the Sony's E3 event — which will be screened simultaneously across U.S. and Canada movie theaters — were emailed a PS4 access code as a thanks for attendance. The confirmation email reveals that the beta will give players access to "two new game modes" on a map called High Tension.
IGN also claims that another "source" has confirmed that Battlefield: Hardlinebeta is coming to PS4, but until Sony officially announces it then I would treat this as a rumor and nothing more. If this is a similar setup to Destiny's beta, then PlayStation owners can expect first access to Battlefield: Hardline beta with other platforms being invited at a later date.
